Glenwood Senior Center
All of the heavy material that costs so much to dump at the few County facilities, open only a couple days a week, the Glenwood Senior Center is now accepting as metal donations for recycling.
The Glenwood Senior Center has developed a way to help Catron County residents relieve the exorbitant costs of trash removal imposed by County Government.
Here’s how it works:
- Aluminum Drink Cans: please rinse, squash or crush
- Aluminum Cat Food Cans: please clean & remove labels. Keep lids too!
- Steel Food Cans: please clean, remove labels and crush. Keep lids too
- Metal tops from glass jars, beer bottles, etc. Please clean & keep with other like metals
- Household batteries: please place with steel food cans
- Old Christmas Lights: Please keep in separate bags.
- Old Nails, Screws, Nuts & Bolts: even if rusty is OK
- Scrap metals: please sort by type
- Old Household Applicances, computers, etc containing metal parts can be donated and recycled.
